Power Supply

In all the cities of Paraná, standard voltage is 110 volts. However, some establishments, hotels and residences also offer 220 volts.
In hotels and other accommodation locations, receptionists generally provide transformers and adapters or information on how to acquire these devices locally.

It´s important to know that Brazil recently adhered to the new plug standard, in accordance with an international norm: the bipolar plug and switch model with grounding (three pins). However, as the change is recent, most buildings still have the old bipolar model (two pins).
